FAQs
Answers to the questions we are asked most often about buying, shipping and returning original work by JoCa. For full terms see the Shipping Policy and Refund Policy.
Are JoCa's artworks original paintings or reproductions?
Every work currently offered is an original: a unique oil painting on canvas, painted by JoCa, with no edition and no reproduction. JoCa produced limited edition giclée prints for about a year and has discontinued them in order to focus solely on original works. Prints are no longer available to purchase on the site, though very limited drops may appear occasionally.
How is a painting packaged and shipped?
It depends on the piece. Some works ship stretched on a professional wooden frame, ready to hang. Others ship rolled in a tube, neatly packaged and ready for framing. Each product page states which applies to that specific work.
How long does an order take to ship?
Most artworks ship from the studio within 3 to 5 business days. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed the next business day. Please allow up to 10 business days before contacting support.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. International orders are shipped via FedEx Economy, with shipping calculated at checkout. Delivery times vary by destination. Any customs duties, taxes or clearance fees are the responsibility of the customer.
Can I return an artwork?
Returns are accepted on full-price works within 14 days of fulfillment, provided the piece is in the same condition as received and in its original packaging. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. International returns are not accepted at this time.
What should I do if a work arrives damaged?
Inspect the work on arrival and contact support within 24 hours if it is damaged, defective or incorrect. If Route Package Protection was added at checkout, claims can be filed directly through Route within 14 days of delivery.
Is there a trade program for designers and architects?
Yes. JoCa Art offers trade terms to interior designers, architects and real estate developers working on projects. Details and applications are on the Trade Program page.
